Two University of Maryland Law Professors Join NextClient™ Advisory Board
Los Angeles, CA - January 4, 2001. Professors Paula Monopoli and Marin Scordato, two highly respected visiting law scholars at the University of Maryland School of Law, have agreed to join NextClient's Advisory Board.
"The Internet is rapidly transforming legal education and legal practice," says Professor Monopoli. "For this reason, I'm very excited about joining NextClient's Board of Advisors and completely support its commitment to bringing quality content to legal Web sites."
According to Scordato, "NextClient serves both lawyers who need substantive content for their Web presence and consumers who need timely, accurate information about legal issues that affect their lives. As a law professor, I especially enjoy having a role in developing a product, like NextClient's Web Content for Lawyers(sm) service, that educates the public about the law."
The two professors join other distinguished scholars in guiding NextClient's editorial mission of presenting complex legal topics in a readable format consumers can easily understand.
"We're really looking forward to having Professors Monopoli and Scordato share their expertise as educators and practicing attorneys. Their perspectives will enrich our content immensely," notes Jacky Walker, NextClient's Director of Consumer Content.
